~Beckett Kavanagh, Class of 2025

A bucket List is a list of things that people want to do the most. They might want to do something like climbing Mount Everest. Visiting a place they have never seen before but always wanted to see. The things you may want to do are endless. But there may only be a few that are worthy of being on a bucket list. I have never really thought about a bucket list before. There are so many things that I have never done or experienced before.
The first thing on my bucket list would be to travel abroad to another country for a year in college. People may think this is a little silly but it isn’t. There are so many opportunities that a year abroad could bring you. First of all, you could definitely start to understand the language after a while which could really come in handy if you ever visit again. It would also be great to meet new people there. Meeting new people is like a flood of new opportunities and experiences.
The second thing on my bucket list is to scuba dive in an underwater cave. I went to Mexico last summer and one of the things that we did was explore an underwater cave. We heard that there were a million-year-old objects at the bottom of the cave, but of course, we were only allowed to swim in it. Scuba diving down there would be so cool. I could discover new things that have been hidden for millions or maybe billions of years. It would also be really cool to see how far the cave goes and how it’s filled with all of that water.
The third thing on my bucket list would be to go to a Super Bowl game with the Patriots in it. The Patriots have been my favorite team since I was born. To see them in a Super Bowl game would be so awesome. The energy always seems better at a Super Bowl.
The fourth thing on my bucket list would be to visit all fifty states. I have been to a bunch of states on road trips and for other reasons. But going to all of them would be really cool. I could compare the states and find out which one I had the most fun. It would also be a really good way to make memories and new experiences.
Fifth on my bucket list is going to the Olympics. If I went to the Olympics it would be amazing. It would also be in a different country at the same time. I could support my country by watching a bunch of sports and it would be so fun. The opening ceremony would also be so cool to witness, with the fireworks and the torch and all of the athletes bearing their country’s flag.
Wow Beckett, Nice job! I love that you have a bucket list, and am starting to think that I should start one. I also want to go to the Olympics. Nice Job.
Your list seems s fun and accomplishable. You can make it happen!
