~Harry Lin, Class of 2029
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your brilliant blue waters shine so bright
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your beautiful bobbing boats gliding so gracefully
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your dolphins diving deftly
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your slimy slick seaweed slowly shifting through the sea
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your sharks swimming so slyly
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your barnacles sitting there
looking so bored
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your turtles transporting through the thick depths
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your blue whales blending into the blue waters
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your rose-red crabs riding the waves
Oh incandescent ocean,
your salty sea sounds so soothing
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your surfers trying to look cool
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your seahorses slide through the seaweed
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your fish fly though the foamy waters
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your sea otters looking so so cute
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your sponges sitting so still
Oh, incandescent ocean,
your stingray slowly sliding under the sand
Oh, incandescent ocean, you delight me on hot summer days.
If you weren’t a thing, this wet world would be so dry!!!
