~Mason Principe, Class of 2024

School is a crazy tornado,
The homework piling out,
It’s overwhelming me
Homework, books, and tests, It’s a never ending race
I'm just an eighth-grader, in this crazy place.
Teachers keep on talking
My brain's like a rollercoaster, spinning around and around.
Math problems, history dates, science too,
I'm drowning in all the work,
What should I do?
But in the middle of this never ending race, I'll stand tall,
And imma give it my all.
I'll tackle these challenges.
So, overwhelmed or not, I'll keep pushing through,
Because I'm an eighth-grader, and I've got work to do
