My skis
cut through the snow like knives.
the snow
powdery like flour.
 
The trees
whistle next to me.
the chairlift
buzzes with excitement.
my poles
so beat up they could break at any second.
 
My GoPro Smiles
knowing it will record a good video.
the snow maker
sprinkles bits of icy water on me.
 
My helmet
protects me from any danger.
my jacket
keeps me warm from the harsh cold weather .
My snow boots
hurting my foot with the tight bindings.
my snow pants
protect me from getting rug burn.
 
Now I am skiing on water.
But soon I will be surfing on it.
