Arsenal

Some days are way more important than others. April 12, 2024 was one of those days. I went to my first ever Arsenal game. Arsenal has been my club ever since I was born and know I was sitting there in section 93 of the Emirates stadium. Watching Arsenal play Aston Villa in what could be a deciding game on who will win the premier  went down 2-0. The game ended with the crowd going wild in the Aston villa section. The craziest thing i remember is the guy sitting behind me screaming “get of the f*ck*ng ground” to the Aston Villa player sitting on the ground faking an injury. The player just wanted to waste time. Next time you think about going to an english soccer game and its home make sure it’s against a team they should beat because the atmosphere changes big time. On a win at home the atmosphere is laughs, beer, drunk people and celebration. On a loss it’s drunk people, fights and a lot of swearing. So for the last time go to a home game that your team is projected to win or you could find yourself upset with the result. This experience showed me that going to a home game where they win is a lot more fun.
