What happens when someone breaks?
I have never found out
But I have gotten close
Anger can come out of anything
It comes out of stress
It comes out of sadness
It comes out of loss
It comes out of everything
It’s blinding
It’s consuming
It takes up everything
We can’t control what happens
We want to relieve the anger
To break things
I have always wondered
What happens when someone breaks?
When they lose control
Is that what causes insanity
What makes people do irrational things
Do they black out only to come back to catastrophe
Or do they fume and fight knowingly
Like a crocodile to a zebra
I have never found out
But I have gotten close
I have been pushed
I have been shoved
I have been insulted
But I have never been broken
Some people do bad things because they think that their right
Should that still make people angry?
I think so
Some people have broken over somebody’s sense of morals
And they have the right
We have the right to be angry
That right will never be taken away
And if it is taken
We will break
As a people
As a society
As a group
As a race
As a conscience
We will break
We will flood the streets in anger
A tsunami of madness towards the person who broke us
Though we shouldn’t
We will
We shall make the breaker into an antelope
And we will be a herd of lions
They will try to run
But we will pursue and hunt until we have caught our prey
And on that day that we will reach their breaking point
That day everyone will find out
What it is like to break
