~Hudson McCullough, Class of 2029

Have you ever been to a hockey game? Well I  play hockey and this is how I got my first goal.

I was sitting on the bench getting ready for the game. I was super excited for my first game. I didn’t start on the ice. A couple of my friends were on  the ice, including Chris Roan. We got the early lead, leading by a few. When the coach put me on the ice I made a couple of really good play’s and I made a few passes leading to goals but I still didn’t get my own goal. The horn sounded. That meant the period was over. The coach signaled us to come to the bench, he put me on the top line. The game started back up again. I played a lot better in the early second period. In about the middle of the second period my teammate was skating  down the ice. It was a two on one he had the puck. He made an amazing pass to me. I skated  farther up the ice with the puck. The goalie ducked into the butterfly and I pulled back my stick to take the shot. I released my shot. It was in the air… 

IT was in it was in!  I couldn’t believe my eyes. It went up and over the goalie. I was overjoyed that I got my first goal.  For the rest of the game I played really well. We came out with a really good win. and celebrated the win after the Game!
