~Hudson McCullough, Class of 2029

If you are alone in the woods and you are with no buddy around you  and  you see a bear you should follow these steps.

First you should check to see if the bear is enraged or calm. Another thing to do is check to see what type of bear you are facing. If the bear is calm, always slowly walk away from the bear. If the bear is a black bear and angered, try to make yourself look as possible with your arms out wide and your body stretched out. Then the black bear will most likely just walk away and leave you alone if you leave it alone.

If it is a grizzly bear and angered you should wrap your hands around your neck and curl up into a ball. Then wait until the bear leaves then get back up and walk away.

If the bear is a polar bear and angry, just run. The bear probably wants to eat you. Looking big or curling up wolt help. You need to run!

Hopefully you will survive.
