Planting a Vision for the Future

A true conservationist is a man who knows that the world is not given by his fathers, but borrowed from his children.”

~John James Audubon

Mission Statement

For our Capstone Project, we were partnered with an organization called Mass Audubon, a non-profit organization in Massachusetts that’s goal is to protect the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife.

Mass Audubon recently received a new donation in 2019 of 143 acres beside the Concord River. They asked us to work on ideas for the only meadow on the property.

We have two different options: we can either keep the meadow that is already there and mow it every couple months, or we could let it grow back into forest like the rest of the property.

It always seems impossible until it’s done.

~Nelson Mandela
