~Bjorn Tellefsen, Class of 2024

I feel pretty good about the upcoming capstone project, except we haven’t quite finished figuring out what to do for it. We know we’re going to do something to help spread awareness about the Concord Prison Outreach program; we just don’t know how yet. We’ve sent an email to Concord Prison Outreach telling them when our Ted Talk is and inviting them to it, and also asking to interview them next week and ask them what they think of our plan.

I’m a little nervous that the time for the interview won’t work out, and I’m also a little worried that they won’t be able to make it to the Ted Talk. I’d say that I’m pretty excited to do this project, but I am definitely dreading it, even if it’s just a little, because I just want to do regular school work. Instead, I have to do a whole project by coming up with a way to spread awareness about the Concord Prison Outreach.

On top of the capstone project, I have to write a five- to six-page essay for Global Studies, even though we were told that we wouldn’t have any other work for the rest of the year in Global Studies, Biology, and English, but nope.
