Journal #1
Today we worked on an email to the group we are helping. We just told them what we are planning to do and what we have planned. We told them about the ted talk on May 30th and set up a time to meet next week. We got a response later today, simply saying that they will be happy to come for our ted talk and we can meet at 9:00 on Thursday. Until then, we are going to work on ideas for our project that we can present to CPO.
Journal #2
Today we worked together to prepare for our interview next Thursday. We are brainstorming ideas for the project and what we could work on with CPO. Our biggest idea is to raise awareness about the graveyard near the prison, make posters and a website to get people interested in going there. We realize there are many ways of doing this, and different ways will work for different kinds of people, like posters will work better for the older people, who don’t use social media as much. While the instagram posts will work better for a younger audience.
A journal to explore not only what you are doing, but what you were thinking. What you are thinking is the big thing that will resonate with the reader.
