Journal Entry #3
On Monday we presented our infographic to the whole grade and we got some compliments on it which felt good. Our infographic had all the information we needed because no one had questions about our infographic because there was no detail left to spare. I finished up my essay and genuinely enjoyed writing it and proofreading it and think it is one of if not the best piece of literature I have written this year, or maybe ever. My group members and I finalized a date and time to meet with the concord prison outreach. I feel pretty good about this upcoming week.
Journal Entry #3
The past couple of days my partners, Miles, Griff, Alex and Daniel, and I met, via zoom, with our correspondents at Concord Prison Outreach, Ellie and Sam. We got a lot of useful information from them and we also shared our ideas with them. Everything that we said they thought was a good idea, they gave us some constructive criticism on some of our ideas, but for the most part they thought it sounded great. We worked on making a draft email to send to businesses here in Concord, so we can hopefully hang our posters in their storefronts. The posters will have the story of an individual buried in the cemetery and also a QR code that will lead to the Concord Prison Outreach instagram. The idea of the posters is to help spread awareness to CPO and the graveyard. We also came up with a list of businesses and stores that we could send emails to to ask if we can put our posters up in their stores.
