A Daunting Assignment

Today is the second day of the second week of the capstone project. Me and my group have done some solid work, but there was some news that they announced in the first period which made doing this project a bit more difficult. I honestly hoped that the teachers would have forgotten about this but they didn’t. What I’m talking about is the 5-6 page Global Studies East Asia final essay. While I know it sounds pretty daunting, he did say that the essay was double-spaced, which made me say “phew” inside when I first heard it. Also, to make it easier, it’s not like we’re writing this essay out of nowhere, we had a lot of presentations before this on all of the 3 essential questions, so, with all this information already given to us, surely it won’t be that bad. Anyways, after that presentation on our infographic and the first episode of a weekly podcast that Sammy, James, and I are trying to make, I’d say that my progress on this project is going well as of now.

An Interview Well-Done
There is quite a lot to recap in the capstone project since Tuesday, also the second day of the second week of that capstone project. Since then, our Mass Audubon group went on our second visit to Brewster’s Woods, this time for an interview with the two people at Mass Audubon, Jeff and Alex. This time, many things were different from March. Not only did the field look so much different, with green grass instead of moles and voles burying under the yellow grass, but now that we were fully engaged in this project, we could focus on asking some key questions and taking notes for our final presentation and all of the steps left in between. Speaking of the steps in between, me and my team are making good pace with the reflections. Finally, while the East Asia essay is very time-consuming and tedious I have already written 200 words in the essay, putting me at around 1/7th of the way done.
This is amazing on the tell side of things, but it might be cool to add more of the thoughts that are swirling in your head, no doubt…
